Analysis of the effectiveness of palliative care nursing interventions for terminally ill patients in geriatric wards
老年病房临终患者安宁疗护护理干预效果分析

摘要

目的 分析安宁疗护护理在老年病房临终患者中的干预效果，方法 选取某医院2023年6月至2024年6月期间老年病房收治的64例临终患者作为研究对象，采用随机数字表法分为干预组和对照组，每组各32例。对照组接受常规护理，干预组再对照组基础上实施安宁疗护护理，比较两组患者疼痛、生活质量及希望水平。结果 护理前两组患者各项评分无统计学差异（P>0.05）。护理后干预组的NRS评分要显著低于对照组，且希望水平评分和生活质量评分也都显著高于对照组，差异均具有统计学意义（P<0.05）。结论 对老年病房临终患者实施安宁疗护护理干预，能有效改善患者的不良情绪，提升其希望水平和生活质量，值得在临床实践中推广应用。

Abstract

Objective To analyze the intervention effects of palliative care nursing on terminal patients in the geriatric ward.
Methods A total of 64 terminal patients admitted to the geriatric ward of a hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into an intervention group and a control group using a random number table, with 32 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the intervention group received additional palliative care nursing on top of the control group's regimen. The pain, quality of life, and hope levels of the two groups were compared.
Results Before nursing intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in the scores between the two groups (P>0.05). After nursing intervention, the NRS scores of the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group, while the hope level and quality of life scores were significantly higher than those of the control group, with all differences being statistically significant (P<0.05).
Conclusion   Implementing palliative care nursing intervention for terminal patients in the geriatric ward can effectively alleviate negative emotions, improve their hope levels and quality of life, and is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
