The effect of using Orem self-care theory in the nursing of postoperative patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors
口腔颌面部肿瘤术后患者的护理当中使用Orem自理理论的效果

摘要

目的 分析Orem自理理论应用于口腔颌面部肿瘤术后患者的护理中的效果。方法 选取我院口腔颌面部肿瘤术后患者进行研究，选取病例数59例，选取时间段2022年3月-2023年3月，根据数字排序分组，单数30例为对照组，双数29例为观察组，分别实行常规护理、基于Orem自理理论的护理，对两组自理能力、负面情绪及并发症发生情况。结果 与对照组相较，观察组自理能力评分更高，负面情绪评分更低，并发症发生率更低，差异均有统计学意义（P＜0.05）。结论 Orem自理理论应用于口腔颌面部肿瘤术后患者的护理中效果较佳，可提高患者自护能力，改善负面情绪，减少并发症，更利于术后恢复。

Abstract

Objective To analyze the effect of Orem self-care theory applied in the nursing of postoperative patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors.
Methods A total of 59 postoperative patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors in our hospital were selected for the study. The time period was from March 2022 to March 2023, and the patients were divided into two groups according to numerical sorting: the control group consisted of 30 odd cases and the observation group consisted of 29 even cases. Routine nursing and nursing based on Orem's self-care theory were respectively implemented to assess the self-care ability, negative emotions, and incidence of complications in both groups.
Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had higher self-care ability scores, lower negative emotion scores, and lower incidence of complications, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).
Conclusion   The application of Orem self-care theory in the nursing of postoperative patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors has shown better results, which can improve patients' self-care ability, alleviate negative emotions, reduce complications, and facilitate postoperative recovery.
